கமலஹாசன் கவிதைக்குப் பதில் கவிதை...

கமலஹாசன் ஒரு விஜய் டீ.வி. பேட்டியில், (பேட்டி எடுத்தது, அவருடைய அண்ணன் மகள் அனுஹாசனே) தன்னுடைய கடவுள் மறுப்புக் கொள்கையை முன்னெடுக்கும் விதமாகவும், தன்னுடைய தமிழ்ப் புலமையை பறைசாற்றும் விதமாகவும் ஒரு கவிதை சொல்லியிருந்தார். ஓரிரண்டு அல்லது மூன்று வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பிருக்கலாம்.. அதை கேட்டதன் விளைவாகப் பிறந்தது இந்த கவிதை. இதை முகநூலிலே இட்டிருந்தேன்.. எத்தனைப்பேர்கள் என்னைப்போல் கொத்தித்திருக்கிறார்கள் என்று தெரியவந்தது.. இப்போது சமீபத்தில் சன் டீவி நட்சத்திர விருது வழங்கும் விழாவிலும் இளையராஜாவின் வாழ்த்துக்கு இதேபோன்று ஒரு மேதாவித்தனமாக ஒரு பதிலைச் சொல்லியிருந்தார்... அதற்கும் சேர்த்து அக்கவிதையை என்னுடைய பதிவுப்பக்களிலும் இடுகிறேன்.. எப்போது வேண்டுமானலும் படித்துக்கொள்ளலாமே..

Well, I had posted a reply poem to Kamalahasan's poem on "GOD". While I grew up loving him as an actor of high talent, I have never been a fan of his conduct in personal life and have viewed him as a person of lowest morality. Of course, his die hard fans would trash me for saying so. Never mind, my opinion is mine and I will never thrust on anyone nor be thrusted anyone's view also. 

While it is perfectly OK for him to be the atheist that he wants to be (which is his belief) and from time to time confuse people by his stunted delivery of whatever he wants to convey. Interviewed by his own niece Anu Hasan for Vijay TV (probably in 2012), he delivers a Tamil poem, probably to put forth his reasons for why he is a non-believer and to ridicule the millions of people that believe in the existence of the GOD... 

Obviously an attempt to show case his poetic prowess. Well, he has a way with words to set them to meter and also has the years of acting experience to say with the required intonation to make an impactful delivery.. 

But what could be his purpose? Even assuming the freedom of speech, is he expecting to imply more than 90% believers of his own state, that he is hoping to rule (as CM), are fools? As such he speaks in a "put on" accent (he is never natural and casual when he addresses people) and in a language simple people of Tamil country cannot understand. Anyways I felt like writing a reply to him in a similar poetic format and put out a video.. 

Well I am not Kamal and don't have the talents of this huge actor; But I believe in the existence of higher being than us in the Universe and never have the arrogance that I have seen it all to refute the divine presence in the Universe.. Well even there is none, so what? It gives me a sense of purpose, discipline and something to hope for in life. So here is my attempt in a video..
